What the hell Mother Nature?! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Well, as we transition out of the snowpocalypse (the greatest takeaway from this shit winter) and head towards summer,&lt;span&gt; The High Society DIning Club presents: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Spring Sessions&lt;/span&gt;, with a menu inspired by Passover and Easter fare and festivities.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Lesson: springtime is known as the &lt;span&gt;season connected to ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth&amp;#8212;so let&amp;#8217;s get heady and full together. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Please save the date for &lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Saturday, April 30th, 2011 &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;and let us know as soon as possible if you plan to join us. We just recovered from our Barcelona jet-lag. In Spain, petty crime is a huge issue and our camera was stolen…errr…there was an iphone error during our mock-Espana fiesta. Regardless of the reason, documentation from the evening’s festivities is thin, but guests sent a few our way! One way to look at the lack of photos— our dinners remain underground and provocative….sort of…? Anyhow, the first batch of photos are from the prep at farmer’s market race for the freshest seafood (we grabbed scallops and mussels) and skip to the after-dinner lingering debauchery remanence. Veronica People’s Club was a little window into what it would be like for us to run a restaurant. Tough biz—rush of big parties, no shows, late last plates. We would have to say the &lt;em&gt;highest&lt;/em&gt; highlights for us were the behind the scenes weekend prep which provided some humor as we took videos of grinding coffee beans (hilarious!) and sizzling meatballs (have you replayed a video of browning balls? laughs!). But, all in all, the Sunday dinner was really great! Lots of friends, bar regulars and neighborhood wanderers came out and thoroughly enjoyed the Italian feast. A big shout out to Jeremy and Heather from Veronicas for welcoming us into their space, Aaron Mate for being a rad DJ. And, of course, we were also very appreciative to receive an internet blurb on Flavorpill. Catch us next time in our chiller home environment.
